Africa Energy Forum 2009

The Africa Energy Forum (AEF) in Bordeaux will be in its eleventh year, following on from its 10th anniversary in Nice, when attendance reached a record 480 delegates from 40 countries, making it the world’s largest conference on African power. Next year in Bordeaux, in association with AEF 2009, the Africa Renewable Energy Forum (AREF) will be launched.

Over the years, AEF has grown into the African power conference that attracts all the majors plays in the industry and has becoming the spawning ground for discussions on power deals of all sorts.

AEF is the established annual meeting place of the African power and gas industry.

Almost 40% of the delegates came from Africa in 2008, and most of these were decision makers, either in government or business.

Venue: Bordeaux, France
