Exhibition becomes networking hub

The centre of the Coaltrans meeting in Berlin will clearly be its exhibition. This allows delegates to view services and products relating to the coal industry and as a result, the large area attracts many attendees.

The merits of the Coaltrans exhibition that accompanies the conference are perhaps best summed up by a comment from Jim Shultz, VP global operations, Washington Group Int, whose company is now a regular exhibitor. He says "it gives us exposure to the greatest number of decision-makers in coal". The following descriptions were what exhibitors provided up to the time that Coaltrans went to press....
