Good year for Polish coal exports

Data from leading Polish coal exporter Weglokoks show its exports are on course for an annual increase of around 8 per cent (1.6mt) in 2001 to just under 22mt (which would represent the highest export total since 1995).

While much attention has been focused on the effects of China's export boom on tonne-mile demand in the Pacific, there has been growth on key short haul trades in the Atlantic....
