Japan's Taiheyo Cement has decided to abandon its plans to build a 134MW coal-fired power plant at its Ofunato plant in order to supply electricity to Tepco from 2006.
The decision will cost Taiheyo about 1.5bn yen (US$12.1mill) including cancellation penalties....
