The Korean Electric Power Company (Kepco) and the provincial government of Antique in the Philippines have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) under which Kepco will complete a 100 MW coal-fired power plant in the municipality of Tibiao in northern Antique.
Energy Secretary Vincent Perez said the Korean investment project would be at no cost to the Philippine government and would help supply electricity to electric cooperatives in Panay Island....
