Coal could prove to be the saviour of British Columbia’s ailing mining industry according to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC)’s annual BC mining report.
Revenues from the province’s 13 major mining operations dropped by five percent in 2002, while net profit was Can$107 mill, or Can$46 mill up on the previous year....
