Mozambique’s rail and port operator Caminhos de Ferro do Moçambique (CFM) has reported that the cost of redeveloping the Sena Railway, which runs from Tete Province to the Indian Ocean port of Beira, will be twice as high as previously estimated.
In common with all of the country’s other railway lines, the Sena route was damaged during Mozambique’s long civil war but is now in the process of being rehabilitated....
