China’s largest coal company Shenhua Group will produce the country’s first barrel of liquid fuel from coal next year using its own technology, known as direct coal liquefaction.
“We have completed 95% of the engineering projects at the first production line at Erdos in Inner Mongolia which will begin trial operations next year,” said Zhang Yuzhuo, who is in charge of the project....
