Anti-coal campaigners from Greenpeace daubed slogans on bulkers queued at Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay coal terminals on 28 July before up to ten protesters were arrested by water police.
The campaigners used inflatable boats, launched from mother ship Esperanza anchored off the port, to paint messages including ‘Rudd Exporting CO2’, ‘Barrier Reef Gone’, ‘Ice Caps Gone’ and ‘Stop Coal Expansion’ on 20 of the 50 waiting ships, according to Greenpeace....
