Metinvest to build coking coal terminal at Sevastopol
Metinvest, one of Ukraine’s largest metal producers, has announced that it will start construction of its coal terminal at the Crimean seaport of Sevastopol this autumn. Sevastopol is the country’s only harbour capable of accommodating 100,000 dwt plus vessels.
The new terminal will handle coking coal imported from the USA, which will be processed by the company’s production facilities in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions of Ukraine, and then exported abroad....
