Much like its Queensland counterpart at Dalrymple Bay, Newcastle’s Port Waratah Coal Services has completed its latest expansion phase – only to see the queue of waiting bulkers blow out again.
In early November PWCS officially completed works to increase capacity by 11mt to 113 mtpa, via ‘Project 3Exp’. GM Graham Davidson said the latest expansion project was part of over A$1B of infrastructure investment made by PWCS over the past twelve years to meet the needs of the Hunter Valley coal industry....
